A new commission for WEIRD SENSATION FEELS GOOD: The World of ASMR at Design Museum, London – an interactive addition to the original Arkdes show. In five installations evoking the natural and offline world, visitors co-create their experience through adding their own layer of sound. The museum visitor touches materials and in doing so performs triggers such as tapping and clapping, squeezing sand, brushing microphones, feeling fabrics and making a splash in a wishing well. By engaging with the imagination of the ASMRtist in this way, you may explore your own experience of the sensation and how to access it. Opens May 13, closes October 16, 2022.
